I have been surfing the internet for years now,reading all the info I can glean on Atlantis not found in books .On Feb.20,Atlantis has been found,and you can see it for yourself as well as compare the information from the legend of Atlantis to this discovery and it matches up very,very closely.It was found by a man searching Google Earth,in the location most people would think,but due to negligence in adding science+legend.Almost everyone either goes for bareboned science to get location,leaving out facts such as accumulation of debris from outerspace which adds a minor amount of mass to the earth each year as well as biomass detritus accumulation,you can easily get 2-4 feet added soil to the earths top layer every 500 or so years.Add to that water as well coming from cosmic sources,and you can well imagine in the 10000 year time frame of Atlantis,that the Earth has changed massively.Add this accumulation of mass(in tun soil depth) and to any from of mega disaster,you have the ability to discern this is true.As a side note,there have been recent findings near Japan and China of cities under water 500 feet in the ocean.These cities never sank,but we inundated with flood water 10-15 thousand years ago.As legend said,so science has proven.

If you look at the rest of the Atlantic Ocean in Google Earth there are a lot of areas with Straight lines, lines at right angles to each other, and other seemingly man-made features. There's a large triangle at 23 deg. 7 minutes (N) by 62 deg. 54 minutes (W). There is evidence of these same types of patterns in the Pacific Ocean as well. I would find it very unlikely that one square section of ocean floor was somehow raised above the ocean surface and then sunk again leaving the tell-tale lines as they appear.

Additionally, the only description we have for Atlantis does not depict a squared city but rather a ringed city and the lines presented in the ocean floor on the Google photo certainly don't portray this.

It is also very difficult to believe that Google Earth, an application freely available to the public, somehow contains more and better detail than the scientific community previously had access to or that this feature, if it is physical rather than somehow electronic or an artifact of the image creation process or data gathering process, had never been spotted before.

We should take care not to jump to fantastic conclusions when we find new pieced of information. The simplest solution is usually the correct one and I find it far more likely, until scientific evidence is produced, to believe that this feature is nothing more than electronic miscellany. When a scientific expedition produces some verifiable facts concerning the site than I'll be more than happy to reverse my opinion but until then, it is nothing more than a coincidence.

Stalfos and his adherents are not right!
Unfortunately scarred terrain around coordinate (31*21'00.oo N  24*15'00.00 W.) is result of tectonic activity and formed as a strange criss-crossing lines after undersea crust-quakes.
This is more then wishful thinking and has not any connection to the real sunken kingdom! The fissure lines are near to the real terrain of the sunken Insula-Poseidia. The lines prove that Atlantis islands had been surrounded by very active tectonic plates.
Of course Google Rejects 'Atlantis' Discovery around coordinate (31*21'00.oo N  24*15'00.00 W.) and they are right!
